The ISIS has reportedly started moving its leaders from Iraq to Syria to participate in the fight against the Syrian forces.

The ISIS terrorist organization has suffered significant territorial loss in Iraq during the Mosul assault which has left the militants with low morale. Therefore the group has begun to send its leaders and militants to the Syrian city of Deir al-Zur, in an attempt to concentrate its military power in Syria as it is certain of its defeat in Iraq.

ISIS terrorist group took over Mosul in June, 2014. Despite losing large swaths of the city, the terrorists have still been keeping hold of it.

The Iraqi army launched the long-awaited offensive to reclaim Mosul from the terrorists. The troops have so far made significant advance into the group’s stronghold and are about to fully liberate the Eastern part of Mosul.
